Inner Strength PHYSIOTHERAPY at National Women’s Box Lacrosse Championships

National Womens Box Lacrosse Championsips – opening ceremonies

Inner Strength PHYSIOTHERAPY at National Women’s Box Lacrosse Championships July 28-August 2 Victoria, BC

Team Ontario Bantam Box Lacrosse in Home Team Jerseys

Inner Strength PHYSIOTHERAPY was fortunate enough to travel to Victoria, BC as the therapist for the Team Ontario Bantam Girls Box Lacrosse as they competed at Nationals.May 5 was the first team Ontario try out and the girls have worked hard since to make the team, and to prepare for Nationals. Overall this was a great trip and the girls should be very proud of their hard work and determination.

The team flew into Victoria Saturday July 28 and the tournament started off Sunday July 29 with opening ceremonies and the first games. Team Ontario played a total of 6 games from sunday to wednesday with 5 wins and 1 loss to finnish in first place. Thursday August 1 Team Ontario lost a very close gold medal game by one point to British Columbia to come home with silver.

I had a great experience working with the players from a therapy stand point both at the arena before and after games and treatments back at the dorms. The team was also lucky to have an amazing coaching staff – Dan Ladouceur, Mike Drake, Ben Drake and manager Brian Reese. This was a very talented and hard working group. Both staff and players should be commended for a job well done!!

I wish all the players good luck at their provincials this week with their respective rep teams and hope to see everyone soon!

CONGRATULATIONS TEAM ONTARIO BANTAM GIRLS BOX LACROSSE ON YOUR SILVER MEDAL!
